About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in our food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in processing vegetables and fruits, with a focus on cutting, preparation, and production efficiency. This role requires leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities for vegetable and fruit processing.
- Ensure efficient cutting, preparation, and packaging operations.
- Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety regulations (FDA, GMP, HACCP).
- Train and lead production staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Optimize workflows to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Maintain equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams.
Requirements:
- MIN 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, specifically with vegetable and fruit processing.
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a production setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, OSHA).
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
- Paid minimum $25 depending upon experience in trade
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour or based on EXPERINCE will compensate accordingly
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday START TIME 2 AM TO ALL ORDERS COMPETED
Overnight shift
Weekends as needed
