Planner - Aerospace

Looking for an experienced production Planner to join our team! Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute production schedules that align with customer requirements and production goals! This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and scheduling methodologies to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.Duties/ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with cross-functional teams to develop plans and production schedules that meet customer requirements and production targets.Creates manufacturing process plans/routers.Creates and releases print packages and material requests.Communicates project status and progress to management, customers, and other stakeholders. Responsible for releasing production orders on time. Communicates with internal departments to maintain the flow of materials. Maintains and analyzes production data, including production rates, materials usage, and labor hours to identify areas for improvement and optimize manufacturing processes. Monitors and maintains inventory levels and updates in MRP database.Ensures all work is performed in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations.Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and components. Experience in lot sizing, material planning, and production scheduling. Experience working with bills of material (BOMs) and creating travelers/work instructions. Experience working with 3D models preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing software, Outlook, Zoom, MRP databases, and general computer applicationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
