Description:
Set up and Start Molding machines to obtain first run parts and verify dimensional tolerances with Quality Department.
SET UP Duties Include but are not Limited to the following tasks:
Inspect Mold for any defects
Clean Mold,
Measure Leader Pin and Bushings,
Replace Gaskets as needed
Assemble Cavities, Liners, Inserts as needed
Measure Gate Depths
Set Up Tool in Molding Machine
Set Up Water as Needed,
Set Up Heater components
Begin the Process of Running First Piece Production Component.
Strong knowledge of molding machines, materials, molds, and other equipment used in the plastics molding department is helpful. Must have ability to do simple math.
