ResourceMFG has a great opportunity for 1st and 2nd shift CNC Machinist within a aerospace company in Moorpark, CA.

Pay: $65 – 80K DOE

Hours: 1st and 2nd shift

Monday to Friday

Fulltime opportunity/Direct Hire Opportunity

The position is for 1st shift and 2ND located in Moorpark, CA. The position is responsible for fabricating precision-machined parts by setting up and operating Manual or CNC mills and lathes per work orders, routers, & blueprints.

Responsibilities:

Ability to evaluate blueprints and develop a machining strategy.

Identify tooling to machine hardware.

Create work holders or fixtures used to machine hardware.

Verifying parts by using precision measuring equipment.

Changing tools and offsets based on cutting conditions when running CNC.

Using proper methodology and cutting tools to produce quality parts that adhere to production and quality standards.

Using proper feeds, speeds, and other cutting parameters based on work piece material such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, etc.

Re-machining parts based on engineering or production required changes.

Participate in troubleshooting for production related issues on the shop floor.

Being able to machine prototype hardware with limited supervision.

Other similar or related duties as required.

Deburr parts as needed necessary.

Requirements:

5 years minimum experience setting up and running manual and CNC mills and lathes.

Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

CNC experience a plus

Experience machining titanium, stainless, aluminum, plastics and other std aerospace materials.

ESPRIT, Master Cam programming software experience a plus.

Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading and inspection tools

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Be able to communicate technical instructions with engineering department.

Work with little or no supervision, previous lead experience a plus.

Minimum High school education or equivalent.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion.

Must be able to meet all ITAR and BATFE background requirements
