Responsibilities:
- Operate all CNC machines (mills, lathes, and screw machines)
- Check dimensions to ensure quality of parts
- Read and understand simple blueprints
- Strive to make standard parts per hour
- Other duties as assigned to help team meet its goals
Experience and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (2) years of operation of CNC machines
- General knowledge of standard measuring instruments; micrometer, caliper, etc.
- Ability to work to close tolerances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination and work in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Follow written and verbal instructions
Opportunities for growth:
- Training in CNC machine set-up, CMM set-up/operation, and conventional machining.
