Textile Company in south Los Angeles looking for a detail oriented textile designer. This is a full-time in-house position with potential of working hybrid remote. Applicant will design fabric for the quilting and home-sewing industry. Tasks including: creating repeatable patterns, re-coloring coordinating designs, designing chops for batiks, color tabbing & color correcting samples, preparing design printouts & electronic files. Applicant should have strong drawing skills. They should also have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and be familiar with the MAC platform. BFA Degree in textile, illustration or related studio art is desired. Some familiarity with creating repeatable patterns for textile design, an understanding of color palettes, and experience with sewing are a plus. Applicant must be flexible, able to manage multiple projects, and have a willingness to collaborate.
