Hello there, we are Drivers Legal Defense. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injury Team.
We’re seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Legal Assistant/Paralegal with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in personal injury litigation, including trial exposure. APPLICANTS WITHOUT MINIMUM EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. SPEAKING SPANISH IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THE ROLE.
Duties
Assist attorneys with client communications, case preparation, including drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Manage legal case files and ensure all documents are organized and up-to-date.
Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for cases.
Maintain effective phone etiquette while communicating with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals.
Support the preparation of contracts and other legal agreements as needed.
Coordinate schedules for court appearances, meetings, and deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills
1-2 years previous experience in a legal administrative role is preferred
Coordinate all phases of pre-litigation, litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Knowledge of personal injury law is highly desirable.
Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
