Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Personal Injury Lien Negotiator to manage and negotiate medical liens for our personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of medical billing, insurance claims, and lien laws, and will play a crucial role in maximizing the net recovery for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze medical records, bills, and liens.
Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and lienholders to negotiate reductions and settlements.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all negotiations and settlements.
Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to strategize on lien resolution.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide status updates and reports to attorneys and clients.
Develop and implement best practices for lien resolution.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in lien negotiation, medical billing, or insurance claims.
Strong understanding of personal injury law and medical lien laws.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a personal injury law firm.
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) not mandatory.
