Criminal Defense Attorney needs Part-Time+ legal assistant.
Duties include assisting attorney with case and clients. Contact with courts and prosecutors and clients. Database management (Clio-training available), tech savvy. Must have great people , problem solving and organization skills. Strong writing skills. Some marketing ability (website/newsletter).
If you love to help others, this is a hands-on and often exciting position. Great training opportunity for student or someone more experienced who is seeking flexibility. This position is in a home-office and some remote work located in the hills behind UCLA. We are a boutique law firm with very interesting clients and do paid and pro bono work.
