Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated paralegal with experience in criminal cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working criminal cases, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to advocating for clients' rights.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the calendar for attorneys and ensure hearings are properly entered and covered.
Prepare and file motions as needed
Request all discovery
Prepare mitigation packets for DA consideration
Work on cases alongside attorneys
Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for client cases.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in criminal law preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Compassionate approach to client representation.
Bilingual a plus
