Position: Experienced Immigration Attorneys (Independent Contractor)

This engagement offers the flexibility of remote work while upholding the professional rigor required to deliver exceptional legal services.
Role and Responsibilities:
The selected attorneys will independently manage and provide legal representation across a wide range of immigration matters. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Employment-Based Immigration Matters: Filing and strategic management of employment-based petitions, including:
EB-1 (Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Professors/Researchers, Multinational Executives)
EB-2 (Advanced Degree, Exceptional Ability, National Interest Waiver - NIW)
EB-3 (Skilled Workers, Professionals)
EB-5 (Immigrant Investor Program)
L-1 (Intra-Company Transferees)
O-1 (Extraordinary Ability in Sciences, Arts, Education, Business, or Athletics)
P-1 (Internationally Recognized Athletes and Entertainers)
Religious Worker Visas: Preparation and filing of R-1 nonimmigrant petitions and I-360 immigrant petitions for religious workers, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Family-Based Immigration: Representation in adjustment of status, consular processing, and petitions for family reunification.
Nonimmigrant Visa Conversions: Counseling and filing petitions for B-1/B-2 visa holders seeking conversion to F-1 (Academic Student) or M-1 (Vocational Student) status.
Waivers of Inadmissibility: Drafting and submission of I-601, I-601A, and I-212 waivers, including preparing legal arguments to secure discretionary relief.
Humanitarian Cases: Handling U visas, VAWA self-petitions, asylum cases, and deportation defense for clients facing humanitarian challenges.
Removal Defense: Representing clients in deportation proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), including preparation of applications for relief, motions, and trial advocacy.
Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA): Drafting and filing appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) for clients seeking to overturn or challenge adverse immigration judge decisions.
Responses to USCIS Notices: Drafting comprehensive responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and administrative appeals.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
At least three (3) years of substantive experience in immigration law, including employment-based petitions, waivers of inadmissibility, family-based immigration, student visa conversions, removal defense, and BIA appeals.
Core Competencies:
Proven expertise in preparing legal briefs, petitions, and appeals for complex immigration matters.
Advanced understanding of immigration statutes, regulations, policies, and case law, particularly concerning EOIR and BIA procedures.
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload while ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and case strategy discussions.
Terms of Engagement:
This position is offered on an independent contractor basis. Attorneys are responsible for managing their own caseloads and schedules, while collaborating with the principal attorney on strategy and quality assurance.
Compensation:
Starting at $40 per hour, commensurate with skills, experience, and demonstrated success in handling immigration cases.
