Plaintiff's Employment Law Paralegal

We're a growing employment law firm seeking an experienced and dedicated Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for advocating for employee rights and a proven track record of supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management: Manage case files from intake through resolution, ensuring all documents are organized and deadlines are met.

Discovery: Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admission.

Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and gathering necessary information and documents.

Drafting Documents: Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, settlement agreements, and correspondence.

Trial Preparation: Assist with all aspects of trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness binders, and drafting pre-trial documents.

Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support case strategies and draft memos on specific legal issues.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on plaintiff's employment law.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FEHA).

Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Bi-lingual in Spanish a big plus!

Software Proficiency: Proficient in legal practice management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education: A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
