The Lemon Pros LLC specializes in Consumer Protections Law located in Beverly Hills. We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm setting, with a strong understanding of legal research and litigation procedures. This role involves supporting attorneys in preparing cases for trial and providing essential administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research to gather information and evidence relevant to ongoing cases
- Assist in document review and organization to ensure all necessary documents are properly prepared and filed
- Prepare and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to gather information and evidence
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather information and evidence
- Maintain accurate and organized records and files
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing and distributing court documents, maintaining the office's electronic and paper filing systems, and performing other tasks as needed
- Assist in preparing cases for trial and provide support during trial
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, law, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and the legal system
- Proficiency in legal research and document review
- Excellent communication and interviewing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with contracts and litigation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A strong understanding of the importance of attention to detail and accuracy
