Foundation Tech, Inc., a specialty construction services company located in the Valencia Industrial center, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage and perform all duties concerning the smooth operation of our warehouse. The warehouse manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions regarding keeping our operation running smoothly. You will ensure the maintenance of company assets, including company vehicles, equipment, tools, and facilities. You will manage a warehouse associate to ensure all job duties are carried out daily.

A Warehouse Worker, or Warehouse Associate, is responsible for assisting the Warehouse manager to complete the daily and weekly tasks of running a warehouse including the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to job orders. Their duties include loading and unloading company trucks, organizing incoming stock, keeping the warehouse clean and neat, preparing material orders for the next day, and keeping the company vehicles clean.

Prior experience working in a warehouse.

Knowledge of operating a forklift. Forklift certified preferred.

Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds.

Ability to work independently and safely.

Clean driving record.

Basic math skills.

Job Duties

Receiving and documenting materials for upcoming jobs.

Packaging and palletizing materials for jobs.

Loading and unloading trucks with the proper tools and equipment daily for jobs.

Inspecting vehicles for proper operation and maintenance.

Keeping an inventory of all materials, tools, and equipment, entering, or exiting the warehouse.

Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.

Ensuring that all the materials are safely and securely packed and labeled for each job.

Managing all material with appropriate care.

Assisting with training of newly employed workers.

Maintain a clean warehouse.

Perform weekly vehicle, equipment, and tool inspections to ensure safe and proper operation.

Schedule service intervals for vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Working Hours/ Compensation

Working hours are a minimum of eight, (8) hours daily. Our warehouse opens as early as 5:30 AM and closes as late as 6:00 PM. You and your assistant will split schedules to ensure the warehouse has someone present to open and close the doors for our crews as they arrive in the morning and return in the evening. Overtime is offered weekly.

Starting wage is $25.00 per hour and can increase to $30.00 per hour plus accrued vacation, personal time off, and paid holidays, overtime, and performance bonus.

Other Requirements

Selected candidates will be required to submit to drug/alcohol screening and a thorough background check. We prefer applicants live within a 25-mile radius to our warehouse.
