Studio Assistant (DTLA Arts District)
SUMMARY:
Part-Time "entry level" opportunity to join our design studio in the Arts District.
Seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual for our team. This position is geared towards someone seeking exposure to the floral/plant industry, wanting to learn and excel their knowledge in botanicals, and gain experience in the botanical world. This is not a temporary position, and does require commitment and availability mostly during weekdays. Looking to hire ASAP.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Valid driver's license.
-Ability to work independently and with a team.
-People person.
-Takes initiative.
POSITION:
- Starting at $18/hr, 2-3 days weekly, minimum of 8hrs to 24hrs at most a week.
- 6 month probationary period
RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):
-Washing buckets.
-Sweeping and mopping.
-Unloading and loading flowers, plants, soil, tools and equipment.
-Processing flowers
-Some heavy lifting (under 40lbs)
-Climbing a ladder.
-Ability to work independently and as a team.
-Organizing studio tools, equipment and material.
-Assisting in deliveries, set up and break down.
