Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping within a manufacturing or production environment, as well as proficiency in handling deliveries with FedEx and UPS.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare packages for shipment in accordance with company standards.
Coordinate with shipping carriers, including FedEx and UPS, to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality before dispatch.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding shipping schedules and issues.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting.
Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping processes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Bilingual candidates are a plus but not required.
