Pond and Aquarium Maintenance Company has an entry level opening for an Aquatic Service
Technician. This job is a trainee position for construction and maintenance duties on koi ponds and water features. Our clients are primarily in the SFV and adjoining areas (West L.A., Bev Hills, Thousand Oaks, etc) and you will need to commute to Van Nuys area.
This job involves a fair amount of driving, and physical labor. Hours are typically Monday-Friday 8-5, with some Saturdays. 40 hrs per week.
Looking for someone who is dependable, hard working and eager to learn; would consider a long-term, part-time candidate. If you use your own vehicle, we provide an allowance.
Candidates should have:
- Desire to learn and be part of a team.
- No DUI or Reckless Driving on DMV record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, and 100 lbs occasionally
- Aptitude to learn fish health, water chemistry
- Hobbyist level Aquarium or fish pond experience a plus but not required
