About the role
We’re looking for a skilled, reliable individual to help manage our building and facilities. Ideal for an experienced tradesperson—semi-retired candidates are very welcome.
What you’ll do
Perform plant maintenance (basic electrical, plumbing).
Handle chemical cleaning/sanitation of outdoor areas; pressure washing.
Light fabrication and repairs (cutting, grinding, MIG/TIG welding).
General handyman work: painting, small carpentry, minor drywall, hardware installs.
Basic janitorial/grounds/landscaping tasks as needed to keep areas safe and tidy.
Safely operate tools, lift equipment (e.g., forklift—if certified)
Keep simple maintenance logs and report parts needs.
Pitch in on special projects and improvements around the plant.
What you bring
Solid hands-on experience in facilities/maintenance or skilled trades.
Comfortable with chemical handling and sanitation procedures.
Fabrication/welding skills; ability to read basic drawings a plus.
Familiarity with food manufacturing, GMPs, or HACCP is a plus (we’ll train).
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on your feet, and handle hot/wet environments.
Dependable, self-directed, and team-minded.
Valid driver’s license; forklift certification a plus.
Schedule & pay
2–4 days per week; Fleixble days/hours. Daytime Only.
Pay: $[]–$[]/hour (DOE).
