Our client is seeking a dedicated and responsible Household Cleaner/Housekeeper to maintain a 7,000-square-foot residence in Palos Verdes Estates. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage various household tasks efficiently. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a household with a long-standing history of valuing and respecting its domestic staff. The candidate should possess a sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms (3 primary bathrooms weekly, additional bathrooms bi-weekly).
Manage laundry including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
Organize closets and pantry to maintain overall tidiness.
Assist with general household organization and upkeep.
Represent the principal when managing vendors or maintenance workers.
Occasionally assist with running errands (rare, as needed and upon request).
Qualifications:
Proven experience in household cleaning and maintenance.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and reliability.
Professional demeanor and respectful attitude.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
Experience with pet care (Australian Labradoodle) is a plus.
Familiarity with using specific cleaning products (Method cleaning products).
Compensation and Benefits:
$35+/hour (DOE), commensurate with experience.
One week of paid sick leave and two weeks of paid time off/holidays.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm. Flexibility to assist with events or weekends as needed.
