- The handyman performs installation, repair, upkeep, cleaning, and day to day general maintenance of the hotel.
- You will maintain professionalism at all times with the hotel guest’s and other team members.
- You will perform repairs of HVAC units, electrical, plumbing as needed.
- You must quickly respond to service requests as indicated by the front desk agents.
-Perform the following building general maintenance tasks as required: minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair, ceiling tiles/grid repair/replacement, wallpaper repair, flooring/base repair, minor concrete repair, etc
- Clean the hotel grounds including parking lot, pool area, guest laundry, elevator, wash the hotel stairs, and clean rail guards, etc.
- Paint the assigned areas and patch walls as needed.
- Deep Cleaning of the hotel rooms (usually 3 rooms per day) that includes washing the carpet.
- Inspect buildings and grounds for malfunctioning equipment building issues and unsafe conditions
- Report all known safety hazards, equipment issues and customer concerns
- Complete other facility maintenance duties as required/assigned
- Comply with Company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned or requested
- Complete the list of assigned activities at the end of the shift.
