Den Mother is a Wellness Retreat bringing slow medicine to the face-paced lives of today. Nestled inside a 1930’s bungalow, transformed into a serene indoor + outdoor oasis. Our offerings include Japanese Acupuncture, Chinese Reflexology, Swedish and Ayurvedic bodywork, and Hot and Cold Water Therapies. Our space is unique and we can offer both 30 min and 60 min hour-long Outdoor Garden Massages in our back garden. These services are paired with our Retail Apothecary and restaurant. Den Mother is a unique healing house where guests come in for a service, but are encouraged to stay to enjoy the rest of what we have to offer.
Facilities Manager is responsible for the following:
Cleaning:
-Ensure seating and tables are in working order, Inspect and repair as needed
-Ensure rugs, cushions and chair covers are taken to the dry cleaners monthly
-Ensure HVAC filter is changed monthly
Servicing Appliances:
-Washing machine and dryers, sauna heaters, cold plunges, towel heating caddies, water boiling machines, security cameras, fire pits, and A/C unit.
Sauna Maintenance:
-Restack sauna rocks in 2 sauna’s weekly
-Deep clean barrel sauna and sauna flooring weekly
-Maintain cold plunge water and filtration equipment, weekly water testing and equipment inspections and logging
Security:
-Replace and charge security camera batteries monthly
Pest Management:
-Work alongside pest control to monitor and solve any rodent concerns
Outdoor Plants:
-Watering on a weekly basis of all outdoor plants
Repair:
-A general understanding of how to replace a sauna coils, troubleshoot
-Assist the staff with daily repairs including laundry,
-Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with plumbing, electrical, carpentry
-Responsible to maintain the like new appearance of the buildings interior and exterior multiple surface types. Wood, metal, drywall, tile, other surfaces.
REQUIREMENTS
-2-3 years experience in general maintenance of commercial buildings and equipment.
-Able to work in different environments of wind, rain, sun, hot or cold, cramped or tight spaces, up and down ladders or lifts, standing, stooping, sitting, climbing, lifting, push / pull medium sized equipment up to 50 lbs.
-Able to follow instructions and complete work assignments in a professional and timely manner.
-Must have a proactive working ethics and positive attitude and high level of respect to everyone.
-Willing to work weekends, holidays, morning and evening hours of shifts as needed.
-Must adhere to company dress and grooming policies.
-Must properly use personal protection equipment and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
-Ability to use basic hand tools and some power tools for cutting or drilling various materials during the completion of general repairs.
Pay Range: $24- $27/hour
PT Hours: 10-15 hours/week
