Job Description:
As a Driver/Warehouse Helper, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and delivery services. You will be responsible for driving deliveries, assisting with warehouse tasks, and providing support to our sales team. This position requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Previous experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in a delivery capacity
-Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
-Proficiency in Spanish (preferred)
-Forklift certification (preferred)
Responsibilities:
-Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport merchandise to customers and vendors, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
-Assist with loading and unloading goods, verifying the correctness of items collected
-Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and inspections
-Take inventory of merchandise and update records as required
-Stock shelves and maintain organized warehouse spaces
-Provide support to front-of-sales activities during downtime
-Collaborate effectively with team members and adapt to changing tasks as needed
Qualifications:
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
-Willingness to work in a team environment with a focus on collaboration
-Flexibility to switch tasks and adapt to changing priorities
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
