Carpenter needed
We are a niche contractor company who is looking for a finish carpenter to help with production and installations. We would like a someone who wants a long term position with some previous basic construction background. Must be able to lift and bi-lingual is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
Complete projects assigned by the warehouse manager accurately and on time.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials and communicate any issues or concerns.
Report any problems with deadlines and materials
Maintain the physical quality and safe operation of production.
Lead onsite teams when required
Work late nights, overtime, and Saturdays during busy seasons to complete projects on time
Lift 50+ lbs
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
Go out to job sites and install materials
Qualifications:
2+ years of wood-working/carpentry experience
Leading carpenters and teams onsite.
Self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt based on the needs of a given production.
Ability to work in an active environment requiring standing, sitting, bending, climbing, crouching, and kneeling, often for extended periods.
Knowledge of a wide range of tools & materials
The ability to read technical drawings
Reliable transportation to & from the shop
Other requirements include:
Valid California driver’s license
Ability to speak and understand English. Spanish is a plus.
Ability to follow detailed verbal instructions.
