Position: Production Associate- MUST HAVE BAKERY BACKGROUND
Shift: 6am-3pm off days Wednesday and Sundays
Pay: $17.81
Must be Authorized to work in the US
Job duties:
Following recipes and/or product directions for preparing breads, rolls, muffins, biscuits, pies, cakes, cookies, pastries and fillings and other desserts.
These recipes/directions include measuring ingredients using a variety of measuring devices, molding ingredients into loaves/shapes, placing products into correctly prepared pans, regulating the drafts and temperatures of the ovens/steamers or other cooking equipments, placing items in ovens/steamers or other cooking equipments, removing them when they are baked/cooked and applying appropriate toppings.
Preparing appropriate pot/spans for baking, cooking, placing and removing pans/pots of food into/out of equipment to others and store in refrigerator and/or freezer.
Bakery Worker may be expected to set up workstation, read and fill out order forms.
Baker Worker may be expected to decorate cakes, cookies, pastries and other desserts/bakery products, check production and keep records to accurately plan production requirements and to requisition supplies and equipment, as needed.
Product preparation will include operating a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, and season and knead foodstuffs for baking/cooking, packaging, and storing.
The Bakery Worker may also be required to lift and distribute supplies and equipment, assist others in the preparation of products, properly store food, and utilizes knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
The Bakery Worker may also be expected to lift and move baking supplies and equipment weighing 30 pounds or more.
Manual carts, electronic carts and motorized vans may be used in the transport of products and equipment.
The Bakery Worker may provide direction and training to other workers, may inspect trainee’s operations for compliance with product standards
The Bakery Worker may lift and move food supplies and equipment
Properly uses and stores hazardous chemicals.
Maintain proper temperatures for both hot and cold food as per company standards.

Wash and sanitize all service and cookware in accordance with all health department regulations.
