Bixby Knolls Oral Surgery is looking to hire an experienced full time surgical assistant with knowledge of general anesthesia and quality patient care. We are looking for an energetic, team player to join our busy office in Long Beach.
Duties:
-Assist the doctors alongside other assistants during surgeries including wisdom teeth extractions, implants, etc.
-Seating patients, tray set-up, taking x-rays and CT scans.
-Maintain, clean and organized operatory rooms, and manage inventory of surgical instruments.
-Monitor patients' vitals and explain post-operative instructions.
Qualifications:
-Experience in an oral surgery office, highly preferred.
-Current CPR required.
-X-ray certificaton
-Completion of OMSA course, preferred.
-Familiar with OSHA guidelines and regulations
-Organized, responsible, hardworking individual with excellent communication skills.
-Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
