Experienced receptionist and surgery scheduler needed for ophthalmology practice. Daily functions include interacting with the patients in person or by telephone or email, verification of insurance information, and the scheduling of appointments and surgeries. Proficiency in Officemate EMR and the ability to assist in the optical and the work-up of patients as needed would be helpful. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have the ability to work well with others, and be willing to learn new techniques and assume increasing responsibilities, while maintaining a high-quality, patient-centric approach.
