Hello,
My name is Carlos and I am a 50 yr. old male with a rare neurological disorder, chronic PTSD, and generalized anxiety disorder. I am in need of a reliable, serious, and hard-working person to be my IHSS (In-Home Support Services) provider.
The perfect person for this job will assist me with personal care (bathing and dressing), household chores (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, laundry, and all other requirements to maintain a clean 1-bedroom apartment), including meal preparation (cooking and clean-up afterward), cleaning and preparation of CPAP machine, and assist me with major errands (including grocery shopping) and other tasks. The work hours will be in the morning for a total of 110 hours a month (approximately 25+ hours per week).
Requirements:

Must have own working and reliable vehicle.
Must complete the California IHSS's certification process (background check, fingerprints, and a county workshop), if not already certified.
Someone with previous experience is preferred; however, training can be arranged.
Someone physically able to safely lift and transport me (125 lbs. at my max).
Non-smokers only.
Must be LGBT-friendly, as I am openly gay. Sorry, no exceptions!
No kids allowed.
Basic first aid knowledge and CPR certification preferred.
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19, NO EXCEPTIONS! (I am fully vaccinated and boosted myself.)
