Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Care Staff(DCS) member to join our team and provide high-quality care to our elderly clients. The DCS will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, nedication as well as providing companionship and support. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with seniors.
Responsibilities:
-Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
-Provide companionship and support to clients, including engaging in activities and conversation
-Assist with medication management and administration
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care
-Communicate effectively with clients and their families, as well as other team members and management
-Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
-Other duties as assigned
-MUST be able to work at least one weekend day
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work effectively with elderly clients
-Compassionate and patient personality
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
