We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and terminology.
Duties:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
-Process billing for Medi-Cal, maintaining current knowledge of billing practices for each.
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding
- Familiarity with medical records systems
- Experience in medical billing and collections
- Understanding of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding
- Strong attention to detail
