A dental assistant is a vital member of a dental team, responsible for providing support to dentists and hygienists during patient care, as well as performing administrative and technical tasks. The primary goal of a dental assistant is to ensure the smooth operation of the dental office and provide exceptional patient care.
Part-time/full-time position available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front office and back office experience highly preferred
- Assisting dentists and hygienists during patient exams and procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and equipment for patient care
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Maintaining patient records and files
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Providing patient education and instruction on oral hygiene and dental care
- Maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment
- Sterilizing and disinfecting equipment and instruments
- Assisting with lab procedures and fabricating dental appliances
- Providing exceptional customer service and communication with patients

Education and Training:
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Registered Dental Assistant preferred, but not required
- Continuing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices

- Must be able to work in a small space and lift equipment and supplies
- May be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends (may choose your own schedule)
