CAREGIVER NEEDED
This is a part-time position. The pay is between $550 & $600 weekly depending upon qualifications. Provider is paid twice each month.
To be considered she must: Have a safe and dependable vehicle. It must be insured.
She must be fingerprinted and able to pass a background check with no felonies on her record.
Responsibilities include:
Transporting client, housework including laundry, shopping, food preparation, helping client with exercise and walking with client.
Client is a fully ambulatory and independent 79 year old male. In addition to on-site work, caregiver must be on call for remainder of shift if excused from on-site activities early.
Positives for candidates include fluency in a language other than English in either French, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, Farsi, Thai, Vietnamese, Spanish, and/or Tagalog. She must be willing to help client learn her language.
If a candidate is a student in any medical school, at any level, she will be considered first. UCLA medical students get priority.
Provider must enjoy Classical music. No rap, hip-hop, or Taylor Swift allowed in house or car while working with client.
Client lives at the beach in Venice, so the ideal candidate will live in West LA to minimize travel, especially during rush hour mornings and afternoons. Sheltered parking is available and paid for by client.
