Job Summary:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring quality and food safety standards. This role includes managing kitchen staff, inventory, and maintaining facilities and equipment cleanliness.
We are now hiring a Kitchen Manager with high volume experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage, direct and execute food preparation and production
Adhere to and enforce all health, safety and sanitation standards
Ensure the freshness of food product through proper purchasing and product rotation
Manage all food storage
Record food and equipment temperatures daily
Manage daily kitchen cleanliness
Perform daily opening, mid and closing operation duties
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
2 years of supervisory experience preferred
Food Certification required
Experience managing a team of 10-15 employees
Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Manager Applicants must posses:
A positive attitude
Leadership and organizational skills
The ability to lead, manage and train a staff of 10-15 or more team members
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work well under pressure
Open availability to work nights, weekends and most major holidays.
