Asian supermarket with a Hispanic twist seeking a Director/Manager to handle the day-to-day operations of the market. Chinese Mandarin is highly desired as themarket owner is a native Chinese Mandarin speaker. Must have at least 5 years experience. The market is located in the City of Industry.
As Director, you will be responsiblefor ensuring employees meet the market's expectations regarding service and appearance. You will assist in arranging schedules, arranging backup employees when someone calls in sick, interviewing potential hires, hiring, keeping track of inventory, training, etc. You will also work closely with the accountant(s) to ensure the store meets its weekly/monthly budget. Full time employment, 6 days a week, $25 - $30/hr DOE.
