Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Hacienda Tapatio Mexican Grill – Calabasas
Items needed
● Your full name and contact information Valid ID or Drivers License and Social Security
● A brief bio or work history (Resume)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Serve a section of tables as assigned by management
● Work cooperatively as part of a team
● Maintain full knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage offerings and
service standards
● Sell and enter orders accurately using the POS system
● Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
● Ensure guest satisfaction exceed expectations
● Complete side work and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
● Carry trays with food and beverages, clear and reset tables
● Check ID's to ensure legal age for alcohol service
● Monitor guest alcohol consumption and escalate concerns to management
● Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene according to company policy
● Uphold honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic
● Perform other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Able to communicate clearly and effectively
● Friendly, respectful team players who calmly handle guest issues
● Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
● Attentive to guests' needs, highly observant, and willing to go the extra mile to
ensure an exceptional dining experience
● Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
● Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
● Ability to speak, read, and write in English (Spanish is a plus)
● California Food Handler’s Card (required)
● Ability to retain menu knowledge
Minimum Qualifications:
● Must be at least 18 years of age (California requirement) to serve
● At least 1 year of full-service restaurant serving experience (bartending is a plus)
● Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
● Must be comfortable suggestively selling food and beverages
● Must be a strong team player
Preferred Qualifications:
● 2+ years of full-service restaurant serving experience
● Bartending experience is strongly preferred
● Comfortable working both the bar and the dining floor as needed
