Hiring Key Account/ Regional Sales Manager

Little Yellow Elephant brand is seeking a high performing Southern California Key Account Manager with ambition and passion to build and expand our iconic brands within the Supermarket Channel. The role is responsible for the entering and execution of the Little Yellow Elephant business within the Costco、Walmart、Kroger and other regional commercial partners. The Key Account Manager will support the team leader in building and maintain strong partner relationships within the assigned geography at all levels, including customers, operators, and distributor partners. This role will require approximately 50% travel within the dedicated region and ideally sits in Los Angeles. Previous experience in the Frozen Food category, knowledge of the supermarket channel, ability to manage a large customer data-base and experience working with a variety of distribution partners is ideal. This role covers the Southern California Territory and partial travel to Northern California region which focus is primarily Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute business plan for the California Division that are aligned with the team business objectives and regional market strategy.

2. Account Management of assigned territory including but not limited to, monitoring daily sales, inventory levels, sales trends & KPI’s, top customers, program compliance.

3. Maintain data-base of territory including but not limited to Contract Maintenance, Target lists, Compliance Score-carding

4. Manage pricing, programming and incentives in assigned territory

5. Strong Focus on distributor engagement and new distribution. Engaging, animating and training distribution partners by establishing strong relationships with sales teams, communicating on targets and brand news, tracking compliance, supporting program execution and equipping them with tools for success.

6. Identify new key account opportunities and programming initiatives to grow distribution and accounts.

7. Assists in rollout of national account plans and programs in the assigned region.

8. Deliver presentations including proposals, brand storytelling and staff training.

9. Identify and expand Points of Activation in existing partnerships to drive sales.

10. Compile and analyze sales data reports from various distribution routes to market and reporting tools on a monthly and quarterly basis.

11.Support Regional P&L Management, payment processing and financial planning tools/processes.

12. Strong knowledge of local markets (what’s new & what’s coming), hospitality industry and competition landscape.

13. Liaison and partner with cross-functional teams to advocate on behalf of territory business and customer needs.
