El Gallo Giro is a Los Angeles based Mexican restaurant company that serves authentic fresh Mexican food, fresh Mexican pan, fresh tortilleria and fresh Aguas frescas. We are looking for passionate high energy restaurant managers. The successful candidate must be able to work in a high volume high pace QSR. Ensure our staff provides outstanding hospitable customer service to our guests and enforce all food, cleanliness, safety and speed of service standards.

General Manager Responsibilities include:

Maintaining fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards

Ensures Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met

Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions

Recruiting, retaining, interviewing, and hiring team members

Conducts performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivates and trains

Ensures company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained

Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction

Ensures complete and timely execution local marketing plans

Champions recognition and motivation effort

Skills/Qualifications: Performance Management, Staffing, Management Proficiency, Coordination, Coaching, Developing Standards, Financial Planning and Strategy, Process Improvement, Decision Making, Strategic Planning, Quality Management

Minimum Qualifications:

You have at least 10 year of leadership experience in the restaurant industry

You have at least 5 years as a Restaurant General Manager

At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation (not public transportation) and a true desire to learn and grow.

Able to pass a Drug Screen

Able to pass a Background Check
