We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a seasonal Events Coordinator. For the right candidate, this role will provide a plethora of opportunities based around the overall production, coordination, and management of our corporate, school, and private events. This role is seasonal through October.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all required internal departments regarding all confirmed events in order to manage and execute general and specific event details
- Maintain a clear, fundamental understanding of the services that the company offers as well as a thorough understanding of the typical event practices/run of show in order to provide general, accurate information for any incoming inquiries from existing and potential clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Build new and leverage existing vendor relationships in order to ensure that the highest quality of any given requested service is being provided within provided client budget
- Serve as primary logistics contact for all external vendors and internal staff in order to ensure smooth and successful event execution
- Observe, evaluate, and address event and operations-related issues and provide thoughtful solutions in order to improve overall event production quality
- Create, organize, order, and produce event materials/prints/items as necessary
- Coordinate with Sales Managers in order to manage designated event logistics regarding pre-production, day-of management, and any required conclusory action items
- Act as the on-site manager and day-of point of contact at select events to train, coordinate, and (as necessary) provide support to scheduled staff
- Engage in other miscellaneous special projects and duties as assigned

- Able to manage multiple competing tasks efficiently as well as create and improve upon current systems
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver on a variety of projects concurrently in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
- A strong inclination for effective collaboration with experience building and maintaining strong relationships across multiple teams and tiers of employees
- Proficient use of technology required
- Flexible availability preferred in order to assist with events (on an as-needed basis)
- Professional attitude and knowledge of communication etiquette in a business environment
