Clark Street @clarkstreetbread- We are seeking dedicated and skilled employees for all positions at our new cafe. In this role, you will be responsible for either preparing high-quality meals or high-quality espresso based drinks in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our kitchen or barista operations and overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes or coffee drinks according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food & beverage items.
Follow food/beverage safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals is served.
Utilize various kitchen equipment and tools, including knives, to prepare ingredients efficiently.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely service.
Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a culinary role or barista role, preferably as a Line Cook or Prep Cook.
Knowledge of meal or coffee/tea preparation techniques and food service operations.
Familiarity with dietary needs and restrictions is a plus.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
