We are delivering and pursuing transport and water tunnel projects where we look for tunnel design managersThe Opportunity· Help to win work, and grow our businesses in major infrastructure and property projects, with a focus on the rail, water, energy businesses.· Help with business development and work-winning by managing and producing proposals, preparing qualifications and delivering presentations.· Collaborate with internal and external clients, including owners and contractors, in a variety of project delivery models, including traditional and alternative delivery.· Manage geotechnical and tunneling projects, deliver excellent quality work on time and within budget, actively build client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered within the parameters of the Arup Management System.· Help influence our clients and stakeholders to ensure that we build a prosperous, low carbon, more equitable future, in line with the Arup values and the UN sustainable development goals.The skills· Masters degree in civil, geological, geotechnical or related discipline.· At least 12 years of experience in geotechnical, structural and tunnel design.· Experience leading project teams on medium to large scale projects· Track-record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations· Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Geologist in the State of California, or ability to successfully obtain registration within 1 year.Please note that all applicants must apply directly via the job portal. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
