Tableau Engineer

Description Robert Half is looking for a Tableau Engineer to work for their client that is in the banking industry. The Tableau Engineer position is fully remote. The Tableau Engineer should have at least 5 years of experience in Tableau and has experience in the banking industry. The role is primarily remote and falls within the telecom industry. As a BI Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards, utilizing various data sources, and translating business discussions into business requirements for reporting dashboards. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards using various data sources Translate business discussions into business requirements for reporting dashboards Monitor and analyze data to provide insights and make recommendations Use BusinessObjects Technologies, Cognos Business Intelligence, and other relevant tools to enhance business intelligence systems Work with the Analytics team to conduct A/B testing and analyze results Develop and maintain business intelligence technologies and databases Create and manage business requirement documents Utilize knowledge of EO/IR systems and MicroStrategy Development in the development and implementation of BI solutions Develop and manage pivot tables for data analysis and reporting Maintain Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop platforms for business intelligence purposes.Requirements Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies Familiarity with Cognos Business Intelligence Comprehensive understanding of Database systems Experience with EO/IR systems Expertise in MicroStrategy Development Must have experience in the Banking industry Strong analytical skills Extensive experience in Business Intelligence (BI) Familiarity with Business Intelligence Technologies Ability to create Business Requirement Documents Proficiency in creating and manipulating Pivot Tables Proficiency in Tableau, Tableau Server, and Tableau Desktop Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks or projects with competing deadlines Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field or equivalent work experience.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
