The RV Repair Guy of Long Beach, California, is seeking a reliable full-time, Monday-Friday 10am-6pm senior RV/Trailer repair and modification technician. Solar experience is strongly preferred. This independent contracting position is extremely detail-focused and specialized, requiring an adept understanding and extensive experience with the subject. Qualifying for this position involves having a full spectrum knowledge base about all the “in’s and out’s” of vehicles, RVs and trailers. In addition to this, we expect the individual who fills this role to understand every dimension of planning and installing solar power systems on vehicles. Due to our strong reputation for timely and quality work, we are blessed with a high level or turnaround.

Pay Rate: Up to $50/hr, bonuses possible based on performance

3 years or greater of in-shop experience focused on full spectrum RV inspection, installation, repair and modification
Firm understanding of project planning and parts sourcing
Expert in solar inspections and installations on vehicles
General knowledge of RV and trailer operations
Didactic understanding of electrical engineering
Understands electrical system planning, inspection, installation, repair and modification
AC/DC systems integration, inspection, installation, repair and modification
Large battery handling
Vehicle plumbing systems inspection, installation, repair and modification
Roofing inspection, installation, repair and modification
On board LP system inspection, installation, repair and modification
Vehicle structural inspection, installation, repair and modification
Generators inspection, installation, repair and modification
Trailer inspection, installation, repair and modification
Fully equipped with all the tools needed to perform services
Actively maintains a clean and clear work space.
Performs proficiently in all areas of service
