DescriptionCome join our exceptional Department of Neurobiology, and help lead the advancement of cutting-edge basic science research into explorations of the brain and central nervous system. In this Research Technician (SRA 1) position you will work within our neurobiology laboratory with 2P Calcium Imaging and Optogenetics. Duties will also include running behavioral assays, computational analysis, assisting with breeding and maintaining mice colonies, maintenance of laboratory equipment and ordering supplies/equipment for the laboratory.At UCLA Health, our passion for discovery and our limitless curiosity have enabled us to become a world-renowned source of medical breakthroughs. Experience in systems neuroscience techniques and experience in behavioral neuroscience techniques.

Familiarity with 2P Calcium Imaging and Computational analysis.

Proficiency with MAC, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Statistics packages.

Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail (ability to maintain complete and accurate records), and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and follow through on assignment. A
