Design Manager, Architecture

Direct and review project designs or changes to old designs. Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architectural projects. Confer with management and production staff to discuss project procedures and specifications, including operations, research, and logistics. Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients. Consult with clients to prepare architectural specifications of projects. Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand. Direct and evaluate activities of architectural design staff. Review, recommend for approval project designs, contracts or cost estimates. Develop and implement policies, standards, or procedures for architectural design, and technical work. Establish scientific or technical goals within broad outlines provided by principal and management. Develop and implement programs to improve sustainability or reduce the environmental impacts of engineering or architectural activities or operations. Solicit project support by conferring with officials or providing information to clients. Evaluate the environmental impacts of architectural and development activities and submit reports to the principal. Master’s Degree in Architecture/Architectural Engineering. 40hrs/wk.
