Thursday to Sunday Nanny for Toddler in Beverly Grove/Fairfax Area
Location: Beverly and La Brea
Schedule: Thursday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (32 hours per week)
Compensation: $30 an hour take home, plus 2 weeks vacation and holidays off
A lovely family of three (with one more on the way!) is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their almost 2-year-old son. The care will eventually extend to their newborn (as needed) who is expected in July. Mom will be with one of the children most of the time, and it will be rare that the nanny is completely responsible for both of them at the same time.
The position requires someone reliable, proactive, and able to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate is caring, playful, energetic, creative, responsible, organized, and can bring fun ideas and structure to each day! Must be experienced working full time with this age group, and knowledgeable of age appropriate play, routines, and educational activities. The family will consider it a huge bonus if you can speak Polish! Lovely opportunity to join a super kind and sweet family.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive care for a 3-year-old boy, including engaging activities and playtime
Assisting mom with newborn care as needed
Create and support a structured daily routine, including meals, sleep, and bath times
Organizing and participating in age-appropriate activities and outings
Light housekeeping related to the children's care (kids areas, toys, dishes, laundry - if needed)
Requirements:
Prior experience as a nanny, preferably with some newborn experience
CPR and First Aid certification
Ability to speak Polish is a huge plus!
Valid driver's license and squeaky clean driving record
Willingness to travel with the family domestically and possibly internationally
