Future Focus is dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live independently in their own homes through our comprehensive Independent Living Services. Our participants are interested in learning the following skills:

Money Management skills and budgeting

Household chores and maintenance

Exercise and nutrition-healthy meal preparation

Accessing generic resources such medical. Social security and other resources that are available.

Medical and dental appointment setting

Learning how to make social connections within one’s community.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

You will receive formal introductions from one of our supervisors or training coordinator to the individuals you will be working with and supporting. Our team will carefully assign you to participants based on their schedules and preferences. As part of your role, you will have the autonomy to design your own schedule that aligns with the availability and needs of the participants. Your responsibilities will primarily include providing personalized one-on-one interaction and support to participants, both in their residences and within the community.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE BEST- HERE’S WHAT WE’D LIKE TO SEE:

High school diploma or GED

Must have had a Driver’s License for at least 1 year.

Working vehicle, valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance

Must pass a criminal background check.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
