We are seeking teachers with recent middle or high school classroom experience in Southern California to join our team at both of our locations. This is a highly professional and supportive environment where you would work closely with the CEO and a team of 2-5 other experienced teachers to serve in a dynamic after-school small-group setting. It's a lively, diverse learning community for students in 4th-12th grades. As a teacher, you'll continue to grow pedagogically and professionally as you serve students one-on-one and in small groups, at our center.

This is a part-time, in-person employee position at our CULVER CITYcenter - minimum 8 hours per week starting at 5:00pm Mon, Tues, Weds. Additional hours and health insurance/retirement benefits may be available as you grow with the team.
Specifically, we are seeking expertise in the following areas:
science (required) biology & chemistry, bonus if you can also support them at AP level, or also APES or physics)
math - middle school through Alg II (not required but a big plus if you have experience with pre-calc or calculus)
"Dealbreaker" qualifications (we will not consider your application unless you have):
classroom teaching experience in the last five years in middle or high school in Southern California
reliable availability - this is an employee position in-person at our center, with steady hours during the school year
ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
small group classroom management skills
high positive energy like a coach or camp counselor
