Altadena Children's Center, a premier preschool serving Altadena for over 30 years, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Associate Teacher.
Position: Associate Teacher
Location: Altadena, CA
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Assist lead teacher in implementing curriculum and daily activities
Supervise and interact with children in various activities
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom
Occasionally lead the class in the absence of the lead teacher
Requirements:
Associate's degree in child development or 12 core units in child development
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a preschool setting
Strong collaboration, time management, and initiative skills
Passion for working with young children and fostering their development
