Do you have a passion for plants and love helping others grow their gardens? We’re looking for a Gardening/Horticulture Assistant to join our dynamic team at the heart of our garden center. If you've worked in landscaping, nurseries, or just have a green thumb and enjoy sharing your plant knowledge, this might be the perfect fit for you!
Schedule:
Monday: OFF (You’ve earned it!)
Tuesday to Saturday: 6:45 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay starting $17.00 an hour
What You’ll Be Doing:
Helping Customers Bloom: Whether it's in-person, by phone, text, or email, you'll be the go-to for all plant and product questions.
Managing Inventory: From plants to tools, you’ll keep track of stock and prices to ensure everything’s neat and organized.
Register: You'll operate the register, process transactions, and balance the cash drawer like a pro.
Delivery Support: Help our customers get their orders on time, and make sure they’re happy with their new plants.
Keeping Things Fresh: A tidy work area is a happy work area!
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in Horticulture or Gardening (nursery, landscaping, or home gardening counts!).
Customer Service Skills: You love helping people and can communicate well in both English and Spanish.
Tech Savvy: You’re familiar with computer programs like Excel, Word, POS systems, and Label X.
Team Player: We’re all about collaboration and having fun while we work.
