MR Services is a growing company in the construction industry, specializing in equipment rentals. We are looking for a Logistics Equipment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring the timely and efficient management of equipment across our logistics network.
Position Overview:
As the Logistics Equipment Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the allocation, tracking, and maintenance of equipment used in logistics operations. You will work closely with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to ensure that all equipment is readily available, functional, and compliant with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the receipt, inventory, and distribution of logistics equipment, such as forklifts, trucks, trailers, generators, boom lifts, dust collectors and containers.
Track and create GEO fencing with tracking equipment.
Ensure all equipment is inspected, maintained, and in compliance with regulatory safety requirements.
Track equipment usage and optimize its allocation to meet operational needs.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of new equipment and spare parts.
Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and troubleshoot any issues.
Provide support to warehouse and transportation teams to ensure equipment is available when needed.
Maintain accurate records of all equipment transactions and repairs in the system.
Prepare reports on equipment performance, availability, and maintenance status.
Assist with the logistics department’s overall inventory management and asset tracking.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
2+ years of experience in logistics, equipment management, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
The ideal candidate MUST BE DRUG FREE (Inc. Marijuana)
Proficient in inventory management software.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of safety regulations and equipment maintenance procedures.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
