Bookkeeper with Trust Accounting Experience - Personal Injury Law Firm

We are a leading personal injury law firm based in Beverly Hills seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with trust accounting experience to join our fast-paced and growing team.

In this role, you will assist the Controller with overseeing the firm's financial data and compliance, with a specific focus on client trust accounts. You will perform daily accounting transactions such as recording deposits, issuing client cost checks, processing case settlement checks, processing credit card transactions, reviewing and processing of stale dated checks, and reconciling bank, credit card, and other accounts as assigned. You will also reconcile and review client cost accounts, and perform other related bookkeeping duties as needed.

Qualifications:

3+ years of bookkeeping experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, preferably in a law firm with a focus on client trust accounts

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Proficient in QuickBooks software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Strong time management and organization skills

High degree of attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Strong analytical abilities

Must be professional, conscientious, dependable and a quick learner
